The 4T universal chassis is a specialized transportation vehicle designed and developed by our company based on the operational conditions of small- and medium-sized underground mine tunnels, using a modular design approach. Depending on actual operational needs, it can be equipped with various fixed superstructures (such as 2.5T and 3T explosive equipment boxes, 3-cubic-meter oil tanks, etc.). Alternatively, a retractable hook-arm can be mounted onto the chassis, allowing for the quick interchangeability of different independent superstructures—such as 2.5T and 3T explosive equipment boxes, 3-cubic-meter oil tanks, and others—via pallets. The retractable hook-arm boasts a simple structure, convenient operation, high loading and unloading efficiency, a high degree of mechanization, and significant labor savings.

Product Technical Features:

1. The entire vehicle consists of a front frame, a rear frame, a sealed cab, and various types of superstructures. The front and rear frames are connected via an intermediate hinge joint, featuring a simple structure that is safe, stable, and reliable. The vehicle’s overall structure is made from high-strength structural steel and welded using gas-shielded welding technology. All welded components undergo heat treatment to relieve and eliminate residual welding stresses. The cabs have been tested and certified according to FOPS and ROPS standards, providing robust safety protection for both the driver and passengers. The cab is equipped with shock-absorbing seats and a refrigerated air-conditioning system (with optional heating available), ensuring a comfortable driving environment for occupants. The instrument panel is arranged logically, making it easy to observe and operate while driving.

2. The powertrain features a Yuchai engine with 73.6 kW (88.2 kW—China IV standard), paired with an integrated torque converter transmission and a fully enclosed wet-type drive axle (with normally closed wet brakes). It boasts dual front-and-rear drive axles and full-time four-wheel drive, delivering powerful performance.

3. The electrical system uses a 24V power supply, and the wiring harness connecting various electrical components is waterproof (with an IPX4 protection rating). It employs low-smoke, halogen-free, flame-retardant wires suitable for mining environments. An electrical interlock is installed between the diesel engine and the starter motor to ensure safe starting. The entire system utilizes renowned domestic and international brands to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the electrical system and to ensure electrical safety.

4. The hydraulic system consists of a braking hydraulic system, a steering hydraulic system, and an upper-body hydraulic system. The braking hydraulic system includes service brakes and parking brakes. The steering hydraulic system employs full-hydraulic steering.

5. All components of the vehicle undergo rigorous preliminary treatment processes, including shot blasting to remove rust, before being coated with anti-rust paint and topcoat. This enhances the equipment’s resistance to rust and corrosion under various operating conditions, thereby extending its service life.
