Recently, the Non-Coal Mining Supervision Division of the National Mine Safety Administration issued an “Accident Warning Notice.” From July 1 to 6, six tragic accidents occurred consecutively in non-coal mines across the country, resulting in nine fatalities in regions including Jilin, Guizhou, and Yunnan. The “Accident Warning Notice” emphasizes the following requirements: Thoroughly study and implement the recent important instructions by General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety; clearly recognize the severe and complex situation currently facing mine safety; earnestly carry out the requirements of the national video conference on mine safety production held on June 17; learn from the lessons of these accidents, draw broader lessons, and take decisive measures accordingly.
